3.6L Pentastar V6 Engine with eTorque

The standard engine in the 2026 Ram 1500 Tradesman and Big Horn trims, the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine with eTorque is capable of a maximum horsepower of 305 and 295 lb-ft of torque, along with 90 lb-ft of launch torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, this engine can tow up to 8,100 pounds (3,674 kilograms), making it a strong truck that can handle more than most in its class.

3.0L T6 Hurricane High-Output (HO) Engine

Standard on the Limited, Longhorn, and Tungsten trims of the 2026 Ram 1500, the 3.0L T6 Hurricane HO engine gets a maximum horsepower of 540 and 521 lb-ft of torque. This allows it to haul an impressive 10,740 pounds (4,872 kilograms) when properly equipped.

3.0L Hurricane I6 Engine

Standard on the Sport, Rebel, RHO, Laramie, and Warlock trims of the 2026 Ram 1500 and available on the Tradesman and Big Horn, the 3.0 Hurricane I6 engine is where the true power is. Capable of a max horsepower of 420 and 469 lb-ft of torque, this engine lets the 2026 Ram 1500 tow up to a maximum of 11,560 pounds (5,243 kilograms) when properly equipped.
