Notable Changes
The new Ram sees an introduction of camera options for your trailer to keep you in control. A camera-based digital rearview mirror provides a clear aft view with an option to revert to the normal camera. You can also get the new optional 12-inch digital gauge cluster display with more than 20 reconfigurable menus. With the enhanced driver assist on the trailer tow, you can now use more camera angles and view modes. Other new features include telescoping trailer tow mirrors, reverse control, and the optional Mopar Sport for the Laramie and Limited trims.
Infotainment and Technology Features
Better connectivity is now available thanks to the Next-Gen Uconnect 5, which has 3x more memory, 4x the processing speed, and 3x better screen resolution. This enhanced system now allows multi-phone wireless connectivity, and you can create up to 5 unique profiles. Exterior Design
Built with its usual timeless, rugged, and muscular appearance, the truck has a Mopar sport performance hood for a menacing look. The RamBox cargo hold offers two remotely lockable bins, LED lighting, and a 115-volt power outlet on the driver's side to keep all your devices charged. The available auto-level rear air suspension built with bed lowering mode at the back allows easy trailer hookup by dropping to its lowest position. The 6-foot 4-inch bed offers 1,628 litres of cargo space, while the 8-foot variant provides an ample 2,106 litres.
Performance Features
A 6.4-litre Hemi VVT V8 is the standard engine, and it provides 410 horsepower, 429 lb-ft of torque, and up to 8,260 kg of towing. For the high-output 6.7 Cummins Turbo Diesel I-6, you will get 420 horsepower, 1,075 lb-ft of torque, and double the towing power. The Ram’s air intake adjustment system ensures peak performance by responding to varying temperatures and driving conditions. It monitors the engine’s heat, high altitudes, and wet conditions to adjust the airflow accordingly.
Safety and Driver Assistance Features
Towing your trailer is now easier with the Centre High-Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) cargo view camera. Enhancements on blindspot cameras that cover both the sides and rear allow stress-free lane changes. The forward collision warning system with active breaks lets you know when the vehicle is in danger and can assist by applying breaks to help decelerate safely. Front and rear park assist systems give you full visibility with a 360° surround view camera and obstruction detection.
